Welcome to the home page of the Division of Continuing Health Professional Education at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. The mission of this division is to provide educational experiences for the lifelong learning of health care professionals in the state.

The University of Mississippi School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. As mandated by ACCME, all faculty participating in continuing medical education programs are expected to disclose to the program audience any real or apparent conflict related to the content of their presentation. Every effort has been made by the University of Mississippi Medical Center Division of Continuing Health Professional Education to convey this to participating faculty. CME Mission Statement

The University of Mississippi School of Nursing Continuing Education Program is approved as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the Mississippi Nurses Foundation, which is accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

The University of Mississippi School of Dentistry is an ADA CERP recognized provider and an Accepted National Sponsor of FAGD/MAGD credit. Continuing education credits issued for participation in dental continuing education activities may not apply toward license renewal in all states. It is the responsibility of each participant to verify the requirements of his/her state licensing board(s).

Continuing Education credit approved by various other accrediting agencies is administered through the division.
